Mini LED lighting guide for the garden

led lighting guide
LED garden lighting is typically obtained with floor lamps, a macro-category of solutions that includes floor lamps, recessed spotlights, posts and other models of various shapes. These LED lighting devices are designed to withstand primarily weather, i.e. rain, frost and humidity (saltiness is a separate chapter that would require further study). The buyer who wishes to buy one or more accessories for the LED lighting in the garden, therefore, must check that the lamps have a good IP rating. This value, present in the package, certifies protection from dust and foreign bodies (first digit) and from water (second digit). The minimum value is zero, the maximum is 68, where 6 indicates complete protection from dust and 8 protection against the effects of submersion in water.
Just to give you some examples at hand, let's point out among the LED lamps for garden lighting the Otix outdoor spotlight, the garden lamp Oh! Mars Out and the Smash Out floor lamp, all with IP 65 and compatibility with class A + or higher bulbs. Obviously, the IP degree is not the only factor to be evaluated. Another important parameter to correctly design LED garden lighting concerns the installation. One thing is to use LED devices, which are connected to the network with a normal power cable, one thing is to choose lighting systems, which, although connected to the mains voltage, require fixing to the floor and therefore a more complex installation work. This is why we at MesRetail never tire of reiterating how fundamental it is to rely on good lighting technology, we gain time and money but above all in the result.

OPTICS, COLOR OF LIGHT, DRIVERS AND OTHER VARIABLES

Additional variables to be known are the lamp optics (adjustable or not, and if adjustable with which inclination), the color of the light (a value expressed with the letter K), the need for external drivers (and any presence in the package of the product), and again, wanting to get more technical, the type of luminous flux, the finishes and so on. In order to avoid unpleasant misunderstandings, we always recommend consulting our online or telephone support service. The Mes Retail staff is in fact at complete disposal to provide all the information on the ideal LED lighting in gardens, outdoor spaces, courtyards, driveways and any other kind of outdoor context. Take advantage of it too, without any commitment!
